I Wish I Knew How to Quit You" Concert
There are times people meet and part. Recollection of past memories leaves one at the deserted station named 'Yesterdays', waiting for a train that will never come. How can one move on? One is submerged in the sea of memories, wandering with hesitation.
Glorifying love seems to be the privilege among novelists and playwrights, while poets put the grievance of unrequited love in their poetry. In the forthcoming concert I Wish I Knew How to Quit You, CU Chorus will present a programme with choral settings of love poems across different centuries and regions, unfolding a spiritual journey along the ultimate separation.
