朱振威
中大合唱團的莫扎特小彌撒曲全集來到第二年，感謝荃灣葛達二聖堂讓合唱團在此分享二百多年前莫扎特寫下的聖樂作品。近年表演藝術界流行「沉浸式體驗」，在教堂欣賞真正為教堂而寫的音樂，不也是一種「沉浸式體驗」？五年時間在五家教堂上演十部莫扎特小彌撒曲，本身就是一次香港聖巡。
說回今天的節目。相隔一年，去年亮相的童年莫扎特一轉眼就成為今天跟大家呈現的青年莫扎特，是次演出的兩部小彌撒曲在他17至18歲之間寫成。如果莫扎特生於現代，這時的他應該是大學新生，跟我們的合唱團裡不少團員一樣吧！
G大調小彌撒曲K.140相傳創作於1773年，在第三次意大利之旅結束之後寫成。說是相傳，因為未見這部彌撒曲的手稿以及相關首演史料，早年更有學者認為作品是偽託莫扎特所作。作品仍然位列莫扎特作品目錄，因為有學者確實找到莫扎特親筆校對的樂譜摹本。這套作品以「田園彌撒曲」風格寫成，旋律優美、節奏簡單而具舞蹈感，一如同類作品處處反映鄉郊生活與牧人氣質。不過更值得留意的是，作品處處展露着莫扎特的歌劇才華與喜好，或許這是意大利之旅對他的啟發？
1772年，科羅雷多接任去世的舒拉騰巴赫成為薩爾斯堡主教，但他與莫扎特很快就勢成水火！一方面科羅雷多嫌莫扎特父子不夠忠心耿耿，老是在外面找發展機會，另一方面莫扎特也認為科羅雷多對彌撒音樂的諸多要求，為其創作帶來諸多掣肘。D大調小彌撒曲K. 194創作於1774年，即科羅雷多上任後第三年，熟知科羅雷多的要求後，莫扎特在此作處處展示陽奉陰違的機智。與此同時，這首小彌撒曲也可以視為莫扎特對當時流行的「狂飊突進運動」（Sturm und Drang）的實驗之作。
何以見得？且讓我在講座為你細說因由。

Welcome to the second instalment of CU Chorus' Mozart's Complete Missae breves Lecture-Concerts. Thanks to Ss. Cosmas & Damian Church, Tsuen Wan for offering the Chorus this opportunity to share two Missae breves by Mozart, written more than 200 years ago. 'Immersive experience' is a popular keyword in performing arts these days. Be seated in a church and listening to music written for the church, isn't that a kind of 'immersive experience' as well? This 5-year journey to present 10 Missae breves by Mozart in 5 different churches in the town can be regarded as a sacred pilgrimage in Hong Kong.
The child Mozart that we presented in last year's lecture-concert is now in his adolescence, as Mozart was in the age of 17 and 18 when the two Missae breves in this concert were written. If Mozart were born today, he would be an undergraduate student, like many members in the CU Chorus.
Missa brevis in G major, K. 140 was probably composed in 1773, after the composer's third trip to Italy. There are uncertainties about the authenticity of the work, as the manuscript is not found, and there are no documentations about the work's first performance. Early scholars claimed this work is falsely attributed to Mozart. Today, the work still stands in Mozart's catalogue of works, as modern scholars located a fair copy of the work with Mozart's own proofs and corrections. This work is written in the style of 'pastoral mass', with lyrical melodies, and simple dance rhythms, suggesting the countryside atmosphere. But it is more noteworthy that this work showcases Mozart's passion and genius in opera writing, perhaps this is inspired by his trips to Italy?
In 1772, Hieronymus von Colloredo succeeded Sigismund von Schrattenbach as Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg, but his relationship with Mozart quickly turned sour — Colloredo regarded Leopold and Wolfgang Mozart as disloyal, and overly active in seeking opportunities outside the church, while Mozart regarded Colloredo's new policy in sacred music added unnecessary difficulties in his music writing. The Missa brevis in D major, K. 194, written in the third year of Colloredo's reign, displays Mozart's wisdom to work around the strict rules by the Archbishop, and can be seen as an experiment of the popular 'Sturm und Drang' movement at that time.

鍾嘉欣 Candice Chung
女高音 Soprano
鍾嘉欣於美國曼克頓音樂學院獲學士學位，及後於伊斯曼音樂學院修讀碩士學位。近期參與的歌劇演出包括《老柏思春》的諾麗娜，《卡門》的米凱拉及《費加羅的婚禮》的伯爵夫人。
2018年12月，鍾氏在原創音樂劇《快樂王子與第四位博士》的首演飾演主角燕子，其後在2019年及2022年的重演亦有演出此角。鍾氏為不少音樂會演出擔任獨唱，包括與香港青唱演唱巴赫《聖母讚主頌》、與學士合唱團演唱浦朗克《聖母悼歌》，及與Hong Kong Ponte Singers & Orchestra演唱奧爾夫《布蘭詩歌》。
Soprano Candice Chung studied at Manhattan School of Music and Eastman School of Music. Recent stage appearances include Norina in Don Pasquale, Micaëla in Carmen, and Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro. She sang the original role of the Swallow in the musical The Happy Prince & the Other Wise Man in December 2018, and its re-run in 2019 and 2022.
As a concert soloist, Candice sang the solo part in J.S. Bach’s Magnificat in D Major with the Hong Kong Young People’s Chorus, Poulenc's Stabat mater with the Learner's Chorus and Orchestra, and Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Hong Kong Ponte Singers and Orchestra.
連皓忻 Carol Lin
女中音 Mezzo-soprano
女中音連皓忻多才多藝的歌唱，獲《南華早報》稱讚其表現令人驚嘆。自2006年起，她在多個國際及香港的歌劇製作演唱女中音角色，包括《卡門》、《再生瑪莉亞》的同名主角、《鄉村騎士》的桑桃莎、《費加羅的婚禮》的凱魯比諾、《蝴蝶夫人》的鈴木等。連氏亦在多個藝術歌曲及神劇音樂會中擔任獨唱，曾合作的樂團包括波士頓愛樂樂團、香港管弦樂團、香港小交響樂團等。
生於香港，連氏畢業於香港演藝學院，隨後獲美國新英格蘭音樂學院頒授聲樂表演碩士。她也是2006及2007年美國艾斯本音樂節的聲樂院士。
Praised by South China Morning Post as “breathtaking” for her versatile singing, mezzo-soprano Carol Lin has taken principal roles in opera productions by Hong Kong and international companies since 2006, including the title roles of Carmen and Maria de Buenos Aires, Santuzza (Cavalleria rusticana), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), and Suzuki (Madama Butterfly). She is the featured soloist in many art-song recitals, oratorio and chamber music performances such as concerts with Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and Hong Kong Sinfonietta
A native of Hong Kong, Carol Lin holds a Bachelor of Music Degree (Honours) from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and a Master of Music Degree (Vocal Performance and Opera) from New England Conservatory of Music, Boston. She is also a vocal fellow of the Aspen Music Festival in Summer 2006 and 2007.
譚天樂 Alex Tam
男高音 Tenor
身兼歌唱家、合唱指揮及作曲家，譚天樂現為香港歌劇院合唱團總監、艾莉亞音樂學院院長、香港演藝學院合唱團指揮及聲樂導師、香港兒童合唱團指揮，及香港理工大學合唱團指揮。
譚氏曾在世界各地不少舞台製作中擔任要角，演出超過三十個歌劇角色。近年獲英國皇家音樂學院頒發 ARAM 榮銜，及香港音樂及舞蹈聯會頒發「傑出音樂家大獎」，表揚他在音樂領域的貢獻。他亦為香港電台第四台《歌劇世界》節目主持。
Opera singer, choral conductor and composer Alex Tam is currently the Chorus Director of Opera Hong Kong, Choir Conductor and Voice Teacher at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, President of the Aria Academy of Music, and Conductor of the Hong Kong Children's Choir and the Polytechnic University Students' Union Choir.
Tam took leading roles in many stage productions worldwide, including over 30 operatic roles. He received the ARAM award from the Royal Academy of Music, and the Outstanding Musician Award from the Hong Kong Music and Dance Association for his significant contribution in the music field. He is the presenter of RTHK Radio 4's Sunday Opera programme.
林俊 Albert Lim
男中音 Baritone
林俊畢業於香港演藝學院並獲取榮譽音樂學士，其後考獲獎學金赴皇家音樂學院深造，以優異成績取得演藝研究文憑及證書。林俊現任香港演藝學院及香港中文大學的聲樂講師、香港兒童合唱團高級組指揮、以及香港歌劇院助理合唱指導。
熱愛歌劇的林俊，曾在多個大型製作中擔綱演出。他亦屢獲邀請作獨唱演出，包括在香港巴赫合唱團、香港聖樂團及香港管弦樂團的音樂會，演出巴赫《聖母讚主頌》、韓德爾《以色列人在埃及》、布拉姆斯《德語安魂曲》、羅西尼《小莊嚴彌撒曲》、莫扎特《C小調大彌撒曲》及《安魂曲》。
Albert Lim attained his Postgraduate Diploma in Performance and Postgraduate Certificate in Performance with Distinction at the Royal College of Music, after completing his Bachelor Degree in Music (Honours) at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), where he received a number of scholarships. Lim is currently a Vocal Lecturer at HKAPA and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Choir Conductor at the Hong Kong Children’s Choir and Assistant Chorus Master at Opera Hong Kong.
Lim performed in numerous roles in many opera productions, and as guest soloist in concerts with the Hong Kong Bach Choir, the Hong Kong Oratorio Society and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, including performances of J.S. Bach’s Magnificat, Handel’s Israel in Egypt, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem, Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle, Mozart's Great Mass in C minor and Requiem.
周業瑋 Chow Yip-Wai
小提琴 Violin
周業瑋現正於伊斯曼音樂學院攻讀藝術家文憑，同時為垂誼樂社之樂．誼獨奏家樂團，以及波士頓Fermata獨奏家樂團的成員，亦曾於香港馬勒樂團、Ohio Valley Symphony及CØDA 合奏團任客席首席。
周氏曾在Cong四重奏擔任小提琴手，在位期間屢獲殊榮，包括Virtuoso & Belcanto室樂比賽中最高榮譽的Adolfo Betti獎，比利時克羅采國際音樂比賽銀獎等。他於新英格蘭音樂學院及伊斯曼音樂學院先後取得碩士及學士學位，師承二宮綾野、Robin Scott和Charles Castleman。
Recent recipient of the Verdehr Trio Award, Chow Yip-Wai is currently on the roster of Musicus Soloists, Fermata Chamber Soloists in Boston, and is an Artist Diploma candidate at the Eastman School of Music, residing in Rochester, New York. He often serves as guest principal player of various orchestras including Ohio Valley Symphony, Gustav Mahler Orchestra of Hong Kong, and CØDA Ensemble.
Chow is the former violinist of the award-winning Cong Quartet, who is the prize winner of numerous competitions such as the Kreutzer International Music Competition, as well as the Virtuoso & Belcanto Chamber Competition (Adolfo Betti Award). He holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and New England Conservatory where he studied with Ayano Ninomiya, Robin Scott and Charles Castleman.
陳心如 Sammi Chan
小提琴 Violin
陳心如現於香港演藝學院修讀碩士學位，師隨陳浩棠副教授，並於演藝學院青少年音樂課
程擔任兼職導師。陳氏曾於2018年隨亞洲青年管弦樂團於亞洲不同城市巡迴演出，亦於2019年赴美國草山音樂學校，及於2022年在肯特盛放音樂節參與年度暑期課程，並在後者擔任室樂團首席。曾參與的大師班包括香港管弦樂團首席王敬、第二副首席王亮、上海四重奏及多弗四重奏。陳氏近期參與的本地樂團演出計有香港馬勒樂團、香港大歌劇院、香港交響管樂團及香港弦樂團等。
Sammi Chan is currently studying for the Master Degree at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), under the tutelage of Associate Professor Ivan Chan. She is also a part-time faculty tutor at HKAPA Junior Music Program. She was a member of Asian Youth Orchestra in 2018, touring in a number of Asian cities. In 2019 and 2022, she participated in the summer courses of Meadowmount School of Music, and Kent Blossom Music Festival (KBMF) respectively, and was appointed as the concertmaster of the chamber orchestra in KBMF. Sammi Chan played in the masterclasses by Jing Wang and Wang Liang, Concertmaster and First Associate Concertmaster of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and chamber masterclasses by Shanghai and Dover Quartets. The local orchestras she recently played in include Gustav Mahler Orchestra of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Grand Opera, Hong Kong Symphonic Winds and Hong Kong String Orchestra.
王爾琪 Erica Wong
大提琴 Cello
王爾琪現於香港演藝學院就讀音樂學士課程。2008年起學習大提琴，師隨王翹𦑊老師及王磊教授。她積極參與校際音樂節比賽，在大提琴高級組獨奏及奏鳴曲項目中獲得佳績。王氏亦參與過多個樂團，包括2019香港大提琴協會Pacific Cello Orchestra及香港演藝學院青少年交響樂團。
Erica Wong is currently an undergraduate student of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). She has studied cello playing since 2008, under the guidance of Juanita Wong and Prof Ray Wang. Wong is a multiple winner in Cello Solo and Cello Sonata Classes in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival. She is active in orchestral playing, including the Pacific Cello Orchestra by Hong Kong Cellist Society, and the Junior Symphony Orchestra in HKAPA.
周慧怡 Bowie Chau
低音大提琴 Double Bass
周慧怡於澳門出生成長，現為香港演藝學院四年級本科生，主修低音大提琴，師隨宗小謙。15歲隨陳秉智開始學習低音大提琴，及後加入澳門青年交響樂團，並多次隨團外訪演出。2018年參加亞洲青年管弦樂團香港夏季音樂節，2019年在第十八屆澳門樂壇新一代音樂會擔任獨奏，周氏為2020年度亞洲青年管弦樂團成員。
Born and raised in Macau, Bowie Chau is currently a year 4 undergraduate student of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, studying double bass playing under Eddie Zong. She started playing the double bass at the age of 15 under Barry Chan. Later she joined the Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra, participated in a number of concert tours. In 2018, she joined the Asian Youth Orchestra Summer Camp. She was one of the soloists in the 18th Macau New Generation Musician Concert in 2019. In 2020, she was a member of Asian Youth Orchestra.

林芍彬現為香港中文大學音樂系管風琴導師，及香港文化中心管風琴教育系列導師。畢業於紐約伊斯曼音樂學院，林氏經常獲邀以樂團樂手或合唱團伴奏身份與香港管弦樂團、香港巴赫合唱團及香港中文大學合唱團演出。2017年香港藝術節，她與指揮朗格黑及辛辛那提交響樂團演奏聖桑第三交響曲《管風琴》。她亦在2022年維也納愛樂樂團的訪港音樂會擔任客席管風琴樂師。
Anne Lam is currently an organ performance teacher at the Music Department of Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and an instructor of Hong Kong Cultural Centre Pipe Organ Education Series. Graduated from the Eastman School of Music, New York, she performs regularly as orchestral player and choral accompanist with Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Hong Kong Bach Choir and CU Chorus. In the 2017 Hong Kong Arts Festival, she was the soloist in the performance of Saint-Saëns' Symphony No. 3, "Organ" with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Louis Langrée. She also performed as guest organist in Vienna Philharmonic's Hong Kong concert in 2022
朱振威 Leon Chu
香港中文大學合唱團音樂總監、指揮 Music Director and Conductor, the CUHK Chorus
朱振威出生於香港一個草根家庭，在學時期未有接受正統音樂訓練，直至初中時無意中接觸到馬勒交響曲並為之著迷，方立志學習音樂。他的音樂訓練始於高中音樂科中央訓練計劃，同時跟隨蔡立德學習敲擊樂。因緣際會考入香港中文大學現代語言及文化系後，仍積極參與多個合唱團及樂團，亦隨林俊學習聲樂。後隨漢肯（Kåre Hanken）、帕羅薇琪（Theodora Pavlovitch）及豪勒隆（Gábor Hollerung）等歐洲名家研習合唱指揮。2014年，朱氏在澳門聖若瑟大學考獲合唱指揮碩士，期間受業於Colin Mawby、Nancy Telfer及Pedro Monteiro。近年隨支韻怡深造聲樂。
2006年，朱氏獲邀出任香港中文大學合唱團音樂總監，除活躍於香港舞台，亦帶領合唱團出訪國內、台灣、馬來西亞、泰國等地。2014年他與合唱團灌錄首張專輯《春風吻上我的臉——冉天豪合唱作品選》，獲該年度《IFPI香港唱片銷售大獎》全年「最暢銷古典、戲曲唱片」殊榮，2019與合唱團灌錄第二張專輯《唱自己的歌——香港粵語合唱曲選》也大受好評。及後亦陸續獲邀成為香港大學利銘澤堂合唱團教練及香港中文大學新亞合唱團指揮。身為富經驗的合唱指導，近年數度與閻惠昌及香港中樂團合作，也曾到曼谷為暹羅愛樂樂團的馬勒第二交響曲擔任客席合唱指導。
朱氏亦為雜誌撰寫唱片評論，並在多份報章刊物及網上平台發表評論文章，也有為本地藝團及機構撰寫及翻譯場刊。朱氏自2017年起為香港藝術發展局音樂界別藝術顧問。
Born in a grassroot family, Leon Chu did not receive any formal music training during his teens. His first encounter with Mahler’s Symphonies ignited his interest in music, leading him to pursue his musical studies, starting with the Centralised Scheme of Music Training for Senior Secondary Students, and percussion studies with Choy Lap-tak. Upon his admission to the Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he participated in a number of choruses and orchestras, and studied vocal under Albert Lim. He later studied choral conducting under renowned European masters including Kåre Hanken, Theodora Pavlovitch, and Gábor Hollerung. In 2014, he attained the Master degree of Choral Conducting from the University of Saint Joseph, Macau, under the tutelage of Colin Mawby, Nancy Telfer and Pedro Monteiro. Recently he furthered his vocal studies under Myra Chih.
In 2006, Leon Chu took up the position as the Music Director of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Chorus. Apart from local performances, he brought the chorus to stages across mainland China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand. He conducted the chorus in their first commercial recording Spring Breeze Kisses My Face — The Choral Music of Jan Tien-hao, which was soon awarded as one of the Best Sales Releases (Classical and Operatic Works Recording) in the IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Award 2014. His second album with CU Chorus in 2019, Sing Our Own Song — Selected Hong Kong Choral Works in Cantonese, is also widely acclaimed. Apart from CU Chorus, he is the Coach of RC Choir, R.C. Lee Hall, The University of Hong Kong, and Conductor of New Asia Chorus, CUHK. As an experienced chorus master, Chu collaborated with Yan Huichang and Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra on their symphonic choral concerts, and was invited by Siam Philharmonic as the guest chorus master in their performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 2, “Resurrection”.
Chu is an active writer for magazines, newspapers and online platforms, including album reviews and critique writings. He also annotated and translated the house programmes for various arts organisations. Since 2017, Leon Chu has been an Arts Advisor (Music sector) of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council.

中大合唱團於1972年由一班中大學生自發成立，早期由學生擔任指揮。九十年代起設立固定音樂總監兼指揮一職，歷任總監有伍德榮、葉長盛及現任朱振威。現在中大合唱團每年演出活動包括周年公演、校園音樂會、海外交流演出、聖誕演出、指揮工作坊、公益外展演出不等。
中大合唱團曾推出多個廣受歡迎而內容多元化的主題節目，如韋塔克（Eric Whitacre）、雅羅（Ola Gjeilo）、冉天豪、顧嘉煇、伍卓賢及伯恩斯坦的原創及改編作品專場音樂會；與爵士樂音樂家侯活麥格尼 （Howard McCrary）合作演出聖誕音樂會等，為本地合唱團開拓曲目發揮影響力。而合唱團亦曾多次與中國內地及東南亞各地合唱團作音樂交流，近年更多次獲邀參與海外演出，如2006年澳門國際音樂節、2013年暹羅愛樂樂團馬勒第八交響曲泰國首演、2015年上海之春音樂節冼星海《黃河大合唱》莫斯科原版的世界首演、及2019台北國際合唱音樂節。
多年來曾與中大合唱團合作的本地及海外藝人不計其數，近期例子有顧嘉煇、邵俊傑、香港電台弦樂四重奏、香港中樂團、合唱指揮家杜黑、古育仲、吳尚倫、帕羅薇琪（Theodora Pavlovitch）、韓多普（Paul Hondorp）、艾力史達克（Eric Stark）等。合唱團亦積極推動香港合唱創作，邀請香港作曲家如胡銘堯、蘇梓安、楊嘉輝、鄧樂妍、伍華晞、伍卓賢、以及台灣作曲家冉天豪譜寫新曲，2016年更與演戲家族合作，委約多位作曲家改編粵語原創音樂劇選曲，為建立富香港色彩的合唱作品而努力。
2014年6月，中大合唱團推出首張商業錄音專輯《春風吻上我的臉——冉天豪合唱作品選》，由現代音像發行。甫推出後反應熱烈，更榮獲《IFPI香港唱片銷量大獎2014》全年「最暢銷古典、戲曲唱片」之一。而第二張專輯《唱自己的歌——香港粵語合唱曲選》已在2019年8月由中大合唱團出版，亦由此開始進軍數碼音樂發行，目前有合共兩張專輯、兩張EP及六首單曲在各大網上音樂平台提供串流及下載。合唱團亦由2019年開始出版樂譜及書籍，至今已發行近三十首合唱作品樂譜，以及台灣學者查太元編著的《冼星海年鑑》。

CU Chorus was founded in 1972 by a group of CUHK students. In the early days, the role of conductor was taken up by students. Since the 1990s, the formal post of Music Director and Conductor is established. The post was first taken up by Dennis Ng, followed by Yeh Cheung-shing, and currently Leon Chu. From a group that once taken part in joint-university singing contest by the Hong Kong Federation of Students, to the one that organises annual performances, CU Chorus has now developed its range of performances including public concerts, free campus concerts, overseas exchange performances, Christmas caroling, conducting workshops and charity outreach performances.
CU Chorus presented a number of popular programmes with diverse themes, such as a number of composer-portrait concerts featuring original choral works and arrangements by Eric Whitacre, Ola Gjeilo, Jan Tien-hao, Joseph Koo and Leonard Bernstein, and Christmas concerts with the American jazz legend Howard McCrary, making an influence in repertoire expansion in local choral scene. CU Chorus has constantly engaged in exchange activities with choirs in mainland China and Southeast Asia, and was invited to various guest performances in music festivals overseas, including the 20th Macau International Music Festival in 2006, the Thai première of Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 by Siam Philharmonic Orchestra in 2013, the world première of the original Moscow version of Xian Xing-hai’s Yellow River Cantata in the 2015 Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, and the 2019 Taipei International Choral Festival.
Over the years, CU Chorus has collaborated with numerous local and overseas artists, including Canto-pop iconic figure Joseph Koo, percussionist Louis Siu, the RTHK Quartet, Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, conductors Dirk DuHei, Johnny Ku, Shanglun Wu, Theodora Pavlovitch, Paul Hondorp and Eric Stark. To promote Hong Kong choral compositions, CU Chorus has commissioned new works by a number of Hong Kong composers such as Dennis Wu, Andy So, Samson Young, Tang Lok-yin, Ng Wah-hei, Ng Cheuk-Yin, and Taiwan composer Jan Tien-hao. In 2016, in collaboration with Actors’ Family, CU Chorus commissioned choral arrangements of various numbers from the company’s original Cantonese musicals, altogether forming a unique and local voice in Hong Kong choral music.
CU Chorus released its first commercial album Spring Breeze Kisses My Face — The Choral Music of Jan Tien-hao on The Modern Audio label in June 2014, and it was soon awarded as one of the Best Sales Releases (Classical and Operatic Works Recording) in the IFPI Hong Kong Top Sales Music Award 2014. The second album Sing Our Own Song — Selected Hong Kong Choral Works in Cantonese was released by CU Chorus in August 2019, since then CU Chorus is actively releasing their recordings on digital music platforms for streaming and download, with 2 digital albums, 2 EPs and 6 singles currently available. In 2019, CU Chorus launched their own publications, including sheet music of nearly 30 choral compositions, and A Chronology of the Life of Sin Sing-hoi (Xian Xing-hai by Taiwanese scholar Zha Tai-yuan.
