CU Chorus Pre-tour Concert 2017
The Chinese University of Hong Kong Chorus (CU Chorus) is going to present a Pre-Tour Concert on 28 November 2017, giving local audience a taste of their upcoming Taipei Tour programme.
At the invitation of Taipei Contemporary Chamber Choir (TCCC), CU Chorus will travel to Taipei, and perform in a joint concert with TCCC and National Taiwan Normal University Choir in January 2018. CU Chorus will bring a showcase of Cantonese choral pieces to Taiwanese audiences, including some musical numbers from productions by the Actors’ Family, a pioneer of Cantonese musicals in Hong Kong,; as well as some CU Chorus commissioned works in the past years, including Ears in Heaven, a freshly premiered choral suite by Hong Kong composer Ng Cheuk-Yin and lyricist You See Hand.
Admission to this concert is free, and no registration required. Seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Audience are recommended to arrive 20 minutes in advance for better seats.
